We've always believed that supporting social care means being more than a software provider, it means being a genuine partner. That belief is what shaped Side by Side, our flagship initiative for standing shoulder to shoulder with the people and organisations who make social care work.
What started as a handful of ideas we cared about has grown into a running thread through our year, spanning partnerships with care associations, sector events, and initiatives shaped around the people we serve, from residential care to supported living and home care.
Here's how we stand Side by Side with the social care sector.
Social care is a sector built by women, who make up over 80% of its workforce. The She Table brings senior women leaders together four times a year for honest conversation and real peer support, culminating in our sponsorship of the WAGS Awards in December.
Closer to home, The She Shift is our internal community for the women of Log my Care, now almost exactly half our business. Colleagues from sales, marketing, customer success, product and engineering come together to learn from each other's journeys in leadership. It's proof that Side by Side isn't just something we offer the sector, it's something we practise internally too.
The people using Log my Care every day should have a say in what we build next. Our Customer Advisory Board brings customers and our team together to shape our roadmap, test ideas early, and challenge our thinking before it ever reaches a release. It's co-development in practice: the sector doesn't just tell us what it needs, it helps us build it.
We want to give back to the people and communities that make social care what it is. That means fundraising for our customers, and supporting the organisations and initiatives that champion the people working across it, from football and gardening days to helping share their stories more widely.
You'll find us at events across social care, but rarely behind an exhibition stand. We get into the conversations that matter, listening to providers and learning from the people shaping the future of care.
We build software for social care, but we've always believed our role goes further than that. Side by Side reflects a genuine understanding of the pressures care providers face, and real investment in helping them thrive.
As the programme grows, so does our ambition for it. It's a promise that Log my Care shows up for this sector as a true partner, side by side with the people delivering care every day.
