What is a PIR? 🤔

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) sends a PIR form to registered managers on the anniversary month of their first inspection.

The CQC uses the PIR to ensure that you and your staff are delivering care that is "safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led." The PIR form looks for certain things, such as if you’ve made any updates to your service. Additionally, you’ll be expected to note down these updates in your PIR amongst other things.

Furthermore, you will be expected to fill out the form completely and submit it within 4 weeks of receiving it.
